Why we offer this

Service asks things of a family that most people never have to think about. Permanent-change-of-station orders every couple of years, deployments that leave one person running the household alone, and a home that still has to work while the person who normally fixes things is on the other side of the world. Who qualifies

The discount is for active-duty service members and military families, on work at their own home.

• National Guard and Reserve members
• Spouses and dependents with a military ID

How to claim it

Mention the discount when you book, so it is on the work order before the technician arrives. Show a service ID, department ID, or discharge paperwork at the time of service and it comes off the invoice. Your technician will confirm the current amount with you before any work starts, along with the rest of the upfront price.

What it applies to

Residential work at your own home: repairs, spring and cable work, opener service and installation, maintenance, and new door installation. Price is per garage door. The discount may not be combined with other Good Golly offers, so your technician will apply whichever one saves you more.
